Around the Mountains Cycle Tours

Around the Mountains Cycle Tours

Our Around the Mountains Cycle Trail Experience is a great way to enjoy this new cycle trail. With accommodation at the characterful Kingston Homestead and historic Railway Hotel, this leisurely 5 day, 4 night cycle tour allows you a stress free way to ride the best sections of the Queenstown Trail and then the entire Around the Mountains Cycle Trail.

We organise everything for you, include your meals, shuttle you when you’re tired and supply a toilet tent when needed (as most of the trails are still in their infancy, there are insufficient facilities at this time). Our small group tour starts and finishes from Queenstown and takes you along the entire length of the Around the Mountains trail, finishing with a journey back across Lake Wakatipu on the 100 year old Earnslaw*.

We have 2 cycle tour options for you to ride the Around the Mountains Trail:

  1. 4 to 5 day Around the Mountains Experience (can be shortened to 4 days without the Queenstown Trail)
  2. 6 day Around the Mountains and Clutha Canyon Combo 3 trail experience

1. The Around the Mountains Experience
