Around the Mountains Cycle Tours

Around the Mountains Cycle Tours

Our Around the Mountains Experience is a great way to enjoy this new cycle trail. With accommodation at the characterful Kingston Homestead and historic Railway Hotel, this leisurely 5 day, 4 night cycle tour allows you a stress free way to ride the best sections of the Queenstown Trail and then the entire Around the Mountains Cycle Trail. The tour can also be shorted by a day if you don’t want to ride the Queenstown Trail, or lengthened into a week long experience by combining it with the Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold Trails in our Around the Mountains Clutha Canyon Combo.

The Around the Mountains Experience

In the Around the Mountains Experience, we organise everything for you, include your meals, shuttle you when you’re tired and supply a toilet tent when needed (as most of the trails are still in their infancy, there are insufficient facilities at this time). Our small group tour starts and finishes from Queenstown and takes you along the entire length of the Around the Mountains trail and includes a scenic cruise across Lake Wakatipu.

This is a fully inclusive 4 night/5 day adventure including both the Queenstown Trail and Around the Mountains Trail that averages 45 to 50km per day. (Or 4 nights/4 days if you choose not to ride the Queenstown Trail).
